It's Picture Book Month!

It's Picture Book Month, and we are celebrating at WCS! Picture Book Month is an international initiatve to designate November as Picture Book Month, encouraging everyone to celebrate literacy with picture books. At Woolwich Central School, we know how important and wonderful books are. That's why we have decided to participate! So here's the deal, we are challenging OUR STUDENTS to read, listen to, and enjoy 4000 picture books during this month. Our teachers will have tally sheets so whenever a picture book is read at school (or at home) you can write it down! Mrs. Luchies, our librarian, will keep count and we will see if we can reach our goal! Join in the celebration and party with a picture book!
