Food Service Price Changes:

K-2 students may buy lunch for $2.65 and breakfast for $1.45.  Students who qualify under U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines may get free meals or at a reduced price of $0.40 for lunch and there is no cost for breakfast. All meals served must meet nutrition standards established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

We no longer have snacks or snack drinks available for purchase from the school cafeteria.  If your child wants to have snack or snack drinks at school, you will need to supply these items.

We still continue to offer a breakfast and lunch program.  If your child will eat breakfast at school, he/she will need to get off the bus and go right to the cafeteria in the morning.  Please speak to your child about this.  If you drive your child, please make sure he/she is in the cafeteria when breakfast begins at 8:15 a.m.

Applications for free or reduced meals will come home on the first day of school and are available at any time during the school year.  Please return these promptly if you are applying.  Applications are also available to download on this website.  You can apply at any time during the school year.
When sending money to school, please enclose it in an envelope with your child’s first & last name on the outside.

Checks for lunch should be made payable to RSU1.
